Karnataka Planters Association (KPA) has a rich legacy within the agricultural community, representing the interests of coffee planters across the state. However, their brand identity felt outdated and disconnected from the modern, dynamic industry they serve. They needed a refreshed image that could resonate with a younger, more diverse audience, while honoring their heritage and legacy in the coffee industry.

REFRESHING BRAND & COLLATERALS

We started by understanding KPA's core values, history, and the aspirations of its members. Through in-depth discussions, we identified the need to balance tradition with innovation. The focus was on developing a brand identity that reflected both KPA's deep roots in coffee planting and its forward-thinking approach to sustainability and community growth.

  • Brand Strategy: Repositioning KPA as a modern, community-driven association that represents both traditional values and progressive practices.

  • Visual Identity: A refreshed logo and color palette that combined earthy tones with more vibrant accents, symbolizing the rich coffee culture of Karnataka while introducing a contemporary touch.

  • Messaging: Clear and engaging communication strategies that emphasized sustainability, community, and the association's role as a leader in shaping the future of the coffee industry.

The new brand identity helped KPA connect with younger coffee planters and industry stakeholders while retaining its traditional members. The refreshed identity positioned KPA as an authoritative yet accessible voice in the coffee community, while the modern design elements fostered engagement and pride among both new and existing members.
